Makeup has been my passion since childhood, starting with the classic blue glitter eyeshadow and bright pink lippie on my jumbo barbie head. Over the years, I expanded my skills, experimenting on friends during girls’ nights.

Surrounded by various art forms like photography, spoken word poetry, painting, and sculpting, I knew beauty school was my calling. After a detour through Europe and studying business in University, I pursued my dream creating Courtney Leigh Aristry in 2018. Shortly after, I attended the Blanche Macdonald Centre and graduated with honours in 2019.

Later that year, my love of spooky season led me to my first experience with Special FX Makeup. Being a makeup artist with an infinity for Halloween, means October is an extra special time for me. So naturally, I did what I do best and turned my passion into a career path. I am happily a gore enthusiast and monster maker, creating the creeps of my dreams and bringing them to life.

Combining my love for art and people, and becoming a freelance makeup artist has been the BEST decision I’ve ever made, and I cannot wait to see where this journey takes me!
